Two years ago my husband and I were looking for a good quality air mattress. We decided to splurge and get a more expensive one that looked good by WonderSleep. However, within the first few months, it got a hole in it from getting snagged and we could not repair it no matter what we tried. The company was great and offered us a replacement one free of charge.
This air mattress has lasted us for two years, but this one again got another snag in it. Not sure how though. I was able to repair it with a patch, but then it started to leak air from the built-in-pump. I know air mattress’ are not suppose to last forever, but I had hoped for more then two years when it is used occasionally when we have guests.
The one downfall of the design of this air mattress is that the knob that you turn to inflate or deflate sticks out quite a bit. It has left marks on the wall that it was against.
When the WonderSleep air mattress started to deflate while using it, I decided to just check out the Intex brand that has been around forever.
I have been very happy with the Intex air mattress so far. We have now bought two of them to replace the WonderSleep one we had prior.
I like the Intex design of the built in pump because it has a switch that goes up or down. It doesn’t stick out near as far as the other knob did.
So far there have been no issues with deflating and it actually is a higher mattress. I would recommend this Intex air mattress and it is less than half the price.
