For Easter we purchased our two oldest children new Amazon Fire tablets. It was one of the best decisions we made during this COVID-19 pandemic. It has definitely kept this mom sane during this time!
I love it for my girls because you can set up kids profiles and control what content they have on it. They can’t just surf the internet and watch whatever they want. I can also put timers on how long they can play on it daily.
If you allow web content on their profile, Amazon will automatically put some age appropriate content from YouTube on their profile. My kids love to watch YouTube video’s! Plus, their are some channels that allow you to add their video’s to the kids’ profile’s yourself.
I also use these for teach my kids. I decided to purchase ABC Mouse for them to teach them while we were going to home. They love doing the ‘coloring’, tracing letters, etc.
I also am able to add app’s that my kids already loved to play and watch. For example PBS, Disney +, Netflix, Nick Jr., etc.
If you are looking for a good kids tablet, I do recommend getting these. They have many different screen sizes to choose from. Amazon frequently runs sales on them too!
