If you are looking for different alternatives to coffee in the morning to get that jolt, one of these energy drinks might be the answer!
I started to check into some different options to get my caffeine in me, instead of drinking coffee all the time. The coffee I drink is not very healthy. I put sugar and milk in it. I wanted to look for alternatives, so I was not consuming so much sugar. I will still be drinking coffee, just not as much!
I found two different options for drink mixes with the flavors of Raspberry Lemonade. If you don’t personally know me, I LOVE lemonade! Even more than coffee! If I can find a good lemonade flavor, I will buy it and be a buyer/advocate for life.
The first drink mix that I tried was from Keppi. This drink did help me feel that boost of energy that my coffee would normally give me. However, I found it difficult to consume the drink. The taste was not appealing to me. I am not sure if it was because it was Sugar Free. I personally do not like the taste of artificial sweeteners.
It didn’t seem to mix well either. Just not a very smooth drink. It kind of had clumps that I couldn’t get to dissolve.
It did make it easier to focus and be able to do things more efficiently though. I didn’t have quite as much Mommy Brain. Also, there was no sugar crash.
The container that this came in is a pretty good size container. You get 50 servings, which is 2 scoop to 16oz of water. That is quite a few servings!
The second drink mix that I tried was from Havasu Nutrition. I will say this is by far my favorite though! I loved the flavor of it. It gave me that boost of caffeine and energy that I need to get going in the mornings. I was not in any brain fogs with it. No sugar crashes either. The drink mixed together very well. There were no clumps.
The downside is when I first got the container, I was shocked at how small it is. It is only 4.76oz for the container. It has 30 servings, which a serving is for an 8 oz glass of water. So it is half the size of the other drink mix I tried. Even though you are only drinking 8 oz, it still seemed to give me the same amount of energy for the same amount of time.
This is a very small container, but mine came with a sticker on the top to possibly get my next one for free. So maybe if you order one, you might receive a free one as well!
